SDS Cabon Capture unit

3MT CO2 captured in 2030. Our goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions from industrial and biogenic sources by making carbon capture viable for companies that are underserved by existing solutions. We measure our impact through tonnes of CO₂ captured, energy savings achieved and the number of industrial sites deployed. Our initial focus is on industrial sectors across the Netherlands and Europe.

Welk probleem wil je oplossen en op welke oplossing richt jij je?

SDS Separation develops compact carbon capture systems for mid-sized industrial companies that are often underserved by conventional solutions. Our device lowers CAPEX, Energy Use, and Footprint in key industrial processes with a > 25% lower cost for Emission Reduction & Carbon Capture. Our technology enables these companies to reduce CO₂ emissions at lower cost, with lower energy consumption and a much smaller footprint. By doing so, we help accelerate the energy transition by making carbon capture viable for companies for which it is currently not a practical or economic option.

Op welke wijze draagt dit bij aan de circulaire transitie?

CO2 is used in Horticulture, Food ingeredients or re-used as feedstock for circular applications (E-SAF, bio plastics etc)

Welke impact verwacht je dat dit project zal hebben?

Our technology opens a large, underserved segment of <100 kt emitters – a category representing significant untapped abatement potential. Our compact CCS systems capture 8-90 kt CO₂/p annum per installation(depending on capacity of industrial client required) , enabling abatement where electrification or conventional CCS is infeasible. We target the following CO₂ to be captured 2030: 3Mt, 2035: 40Mt, 2040: 180Mt, 2050 1,5Gt

Waar sta je op dit moment? Welke impact heb je al gerealiseerd?

We have strong commercial traction, with paid demonstrations and pre-engineering orders. Our team is experienced in process engineering, industrial and clime-tech with track record in scaling-up from pilot to SOAK and in margin optimization.
